Hi! My name is Ranya Trombati. I was born and raised in the beautiful “Red City” of Marrakech in Morocco.

I studied Law, but came to America to live in Arizona to take advantage of the land of opportunity. The city of Phoenix was similar to Morocco in the sense of desert, and I noticed the vivid difference in the colors of each city.

I met my husband in Arizona and moved to Birmingham, Alabama for his job.

Wow! There was so much of a difference in my natural surrounding!

The colors, the landscape, the infinite deserts to the mountainous forests, everything was so beautiful and the colors were so vivid, that I decided to put these images in my head on canvas!
